Egg Cup

This is a old chocolate mold of an egg cup although it has also been called a wine glass or challis.  The mold was made by Eppelsheimer, New York , marked with the manufacturer’s mark and number.  This is a matched mold #15 & # 15 , suitable for molding chocolate.  This mold is open at the top and bottom. To pour it the chocolate would have been applied to both sides with a brush until the thickness desired and then placed on the table and the bottom poured.
