Chinaman

This antique pewter ice cream mold is the “Palmer Cox” Chinaman.  Schall did a series of characters with the “Palmer Cox” faces.  This mold was made by Schall & Co. marked “T MILLS BROS.” who purchased the mold from Schall and sold it under their name.  The mold retains the original steel hinge pin.
